Welcome to the first Power of Veto competition of Big Brother 11! Jordan, Kevin, Laura, Lydia, Natalie, and Russell, you have been selected to play this week. This will be posted in your diary rooms.
Here is how the game will work. The competition will be played in rounds. Each round there will be a certain amount of points available. Your job is to post with how many of the total points available for that round that you want to take. But, here’s the catch. The person who takes the least points each round will be eliminated. Everyone else will receive the points that they took and move on to the next round. Once the competition is down to the last three houseguests, the person who takes the least that round will be eliminated and the person who is left with the least total points from all of the rounds will win the Power of Veto and can use it to save themselves or someone else from the block.
Here is an example of how a round will work:
There are 500 points available this round.
-Dan takes 345 points.
-Jerry takes 410 points.
-Keesha takes 320 points.
-Memphis takes 450 points.
-Ollie takes 270 points.
-Renny takes 350 points.
Ollie would be eliminated for taking the least points that round and each of the remaining players will take those points with them into the next round.
*By the way: If it is a tie for the lowest amount you will both be out.*
If it is a tie for the final round, but is highly not possible.. the tie breaker question is how many people have zeroes in their confessionals at exactly 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2009? First come, first served.
Round 1: You can take up to 500 Points.
Round 2: You can take up to 1000 Points.
Round 3: You can take up to 2000 Points.
Final Round: Whoever has the least points wins PoV.
The competition starts at 9 PM Eastern tonight.
The competition ends at 9 PM Eastern tomorrow.
